Start learn Python first because it is very easy to learn, you can do code simple programs in python on some days by learning basic concepts. and you can become very good in Python in 1-2 months .in the other hand, Ruby is a little complex to code as compared to Python, Ruby is natural, not so simple to learn.
Python inherits most of C programming syntax which makes it easy to learn as well.
